Thank you to all who helped make the celebration of Staff Appreciation a success last Sunday. Your cards and kind words and willingness to be part of the day mean so much. I am touched by your outpouring of love for our staff, including for me. It is a joy to serve among you.

I’m also thankful for the opportunity to celebrate our volunteers, new members, and the gifts of the laity this coming week in worship. There are so many in our congregation who devote their time and energy to the work of the church and the mission of our congregation in the community. It is a honor to be your pastor. I hope you will be part of the gathered community as we name some of the ways that the Holy Spirit is breaking into our midst, through the dedication of our laity.
