Children and Families

The Haller Lake UMC congregation loves children and always welcomes their participation in worship.

Haller Lake Core Values for Childcare

Your child’s safety is our top concern. Our volunteers are screened and interviewed, and our kids’ environments are routinely monitored.

Relationships

We value children’s relationships within community, with other children and role models and mentors throughout the community. We help children learn develop healthy relationships with other people and with God.

Age-Appropriateness

Our environments and lesson materials are designed with the attention and ability of your child in mind. We want every child to continue to develop their faith at a level that fits their development.

Safety

Your child’s safety is our top concern. Our volunteers are screened and interviewed, and our kids’ environments are routinely monitored.

Fun

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about spiritual growth, including games, activities, and singing.

Creative Faith-filled Teaching

We know it’s vital for children to learn the stories that shape us as faithful people in the world through activities and discussions that help them experience God’s love for them.
