Covid Precautions: Gathering Safely

We are building an inclusive community that glorifies God and helps people follow Jesus’ loving guidance by worshipping vibrantly, growing spiritually, and faithfully serving the needs of our community and world.

We invite you to participate in person or virtually in worship and other events.

Many of our groups and teams are still meeting via video conferencing or in a hybrid format where some people are in person and some are online. However we are increasingly welcoming fully in person gatherings as well. As we gather, health and safety is always a high priority for us. We encourage wearing masks when we are together, and we maintain distance as much as possible. A sign-in sheet is available if you attend an event in person and want to be notified if a Covid case is reported after the event. Our large spaces have air purifiers running whenever they are occupied, and we disinfect surfaces frequently. We hope you will feel confident and safe with these measures in place and be with us when you are feeling well. We have many other ways you can connect if you aren’t sure about meeting in person, or if you have any flu-like symptoms and need to stay home.

We have a weekly newsletter with church announcements, connections to what’s happening in the community us, and information about worship. If you don’t already receive the newsletter and would like to, please sign up here, or please let our pastor know at pastorlaura@hallerlakeumc.org.

It is still possible to join many of our meetings and all of our worship services on Zoom. Links to all Zoom meetings are provided in the weekly newsletter. The full calendar of events is on the Calendar page.
